FOUNDED BY PLAYERS - FOR THE PLAYERS
The Counter-Strike Professional Players' Association (CSPPA) is the worldwide representative association for professional Counter-Strike (CS:GO) players.
The CSPPA is player-driven, independant and democratic. Equality and solidarity are key values.
The CSPPA aims to safeguard, protect and promote professional Counter-Strike players’ interests both during and after their active career. The CSPPA will work to secure the best possible working conditions for the players, while taking into acount the special nature of the industry.
Any player who is contracted or actively seeking a contract as a professional Counter-Strike player and who competes at an elite level is eligible to be an active member of the CSPPA.
CSPPA is managed by the CSPPA board of players. The CSPPA board of players are elected by the membership each year on the CSPPA General Assembly. On the 2021 CSPPA General Assembly the following board of players were elected to serve the coming year(s):

The CSPPA board of players are assisted by former CSPPA CEO Mads Øland who has taken on the role of advisor to the board.
FOUNDING OF CSPPA
The CSPPA was created in 2018 by a founding board of 7 professional CS:GO players:

CSPPA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The highest authority of the CSPPA is the CSPPA General Assembly. During the CSPPA General Assembly the CSPPA members will vote on who will represent them on the CSPPA board of players. Further, members will vote on suggestions put forward by the membership.

CSPPA PLAYER REPRESENTATIVES
The CSPPA player representatives are tasked with discussing and making decisions on matters that affect players, including CSPPA policies and actions. Further, CSPPA player representatives are asked to contribute and take part in the dialogue among the players and help make sure that the opinions of all players can be brought forward.
CSPPA encourage all teams to elect a CSPPA player representative who will represent his teammates and himself and help make decisions together with colleagues from other teams.
CSPPA PLAYER COMMITTEES
CSPPA has set up CSPPA Player Committees where players are tasked with providing input and making decisions on certain topics. Any CSPPA member can join a player committee and thereby take part in developing CSPPA policies and making positive changes for the good of the players and the CS:GO scene as a whole.
